Founded in 2021, Thompson Coins and Collectables emerged as a result of Matthew Thompson’s decade of experience in the industry. His love for numismatics started in the Philatelic Bureau of Australia Post and grew through years of working at Downies Coins and Collectables and Town Hall Coins in Sydney. After managing Downies’ flagship store in Melbourne, Matthew decided to take his expertise and passion to the next level, leading to the opening of his own store in Boronia Mall in May 2024.
